Today we celebrate International Women’s Day! It is a day to celebrate women, to focus on the needs of women, and to take action in support of women everywhere.
According to the International Women’s Day website, today is about “unity, celebration, reflection, advocacy and action — whatever that looks like globally at a local level. But one thing is for sure, International Women’s Day has been occurring for well over a century — and continue’s to grow from strength to strength.”
By coming together and supporting women everywhere, we can work together to eradicate inequality and gender bias.
