Join or Renew Your Network Membership

Network Membership is open to individuals who do not live in or within easy commuting distance to one of our chapters.

Please first check our Find a Chapter page to see if there is a chapter near you to join.

Dues are $40 per year. The membership year is June 1 through May 31.

You may join at any time of the year, just keep in mind your membership will only be good until May 31.

If you join in April or May, you get the rest of the current membership year (through May 31) for free, and your membership will be valid through May 31 of the following year.

Some benefits of membership include being able to

  • Network with WNBA members across the country
  • Continue your professional development
  • Attend events, including author talks, book discussions, webinars, and workshops
  • Join committees or help out with programs and activities
  • Promote your news, services, books, and other professional achievements
  • Access discounts to certain industry resources such as subscriptions, software, and writing workshops and conferences
  • Have fun!

For more details, check out all of our Membership Benefits.

To Join or Renew as a Network Member

Complete the application and pay $40 by check or through PayPal, which accepts credit card payments from anyone.  (Using PayPal requires a $2 service fee added to the $40 dues.)

If you wish to use PayPal, the process is entirely online.  Fill out the application form at the bottom of this page and process your payment through PayPal.

If you do not want to use PayPal, please download this application form, complete it, save it, print it, and mail it with your check.  Mailing instructions are on the form. Here is the National Network Membership Form (to be downloaded, printed, and mailed with check).

Fill out the Network Membership Application Form (used with PayPal only)

Once you have submitted this form, please click on this PayPal link to process your payment of $40 + $2 service fee ($42 total).  You will receive a confirmation once we have both your application and payment.

Once you are a Network Member, you can create your WNBA Directory profile, participate in events, join a committee, and more!

Member Demographics Survey (optional)

We collect anonymous demographic information for the purpose of obtaining grants and sponsorships. In order to provide programming and to enhance membership services, these funding sources are needed. Grants and sponsorships require demographic information about our members in order for WNBA to be eligible for funding.

Answering the following questions is optional, but we’d really appreciate it if you’d take a few moments to fill out this survey. Thanks!
